The Central Supply Coordinator will monitor inventory and order supplies. The overall purpose of the Staffing Coordinator position is to utilize the organizational tools provided to ensure adequate staffing and scheduling of the nursing staff.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with supply check-in at the time of delivery and verify against purchase orders.
• Forward purchase orders and packing slips to Accounts Payable.
• Distribute supplies to appropriate locations. • Maintain a cost requisition system.
• Assure that the stock room is clean, safe, and orderly.
• Mark all appropriate supplies for use with the inventory system.
• Obtain data on chargeable supplies used by each resident.
• Utilize spend down sheets.
• Assist with daily and monthly physical inventory.
• Maintain par levels
• Demonstrates satisfactory level of interpersonal skills to interact with facility staff, Administration, residents, families, vendors and government agencies.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and respect for the rights, dignity and individuality of each resident in all interactions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Staffing Coordinator:
The overall purpose of the Staffing Coordinator position is to utilize the organizational tools provided to ensure adequate staffing and scheduling of the nursing staff. Staffing personnel in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times. Also, to perform clerical duties as needed for Nursing Management of the facility.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience: • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent. • 2 years office administrative experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
Responsibilities:

Prepares schedule for the nursing department by scheduling all nurse and nursing assistants to ensure state mandated staffing ratios (PPD) are maintained.

Monitor overtime and make daily staffing adjustments according to census needs.

Maintain daily roster sheets for each shift.

Daily review of previous day’s time clock punches with schedules.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions, (word processing, graphics, databases, spreadsheets, etc.) • Strong organizational and analytical skills; oral and written communication skills. • Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice in job situations. • Freedom from use of and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workpla
