The Opportunity

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for our first Customer Success Associate to join our Sales team. This role will collaborate with Customer Success Managers and help them execute the planning and rollout of value-based materials aimed at strategic account growth and business development. 

As a Customer Success Associate, you will be instrumental in bringing our product to businesses around the world. You will be joining Grammarly’s Customer Success organization,  building a next-generation customer expansion motion that blends the best of proven approaches with rule-breaking ways to create an end-to-end approach that maximizes the value of Grammarly for our clients. 

In this role, you will 

  • Collaborate with your assigned customer success managers, partners, and solution and sales engineering teams on building and tailoring value-based presentations.
  • Create an account research foundation for your customer success partners
  • Tailor user surveys aimed at showing Grammarly key results across the assigned user base. 
  • Work cross-functionally with the Solutions and Sales Engineering teams on identifying key areas of growth and incorporating these into the value-based materials for our client conversations. 
  • Contribute to content and process improvements across the customer lifecycle to continuously improve the customer experience.

  • Builds strong relationships with people, understands their needs and goals, and identifies creative solutions.
  • Searches for reasons and causes. Has the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data, make data-driven decisions, and use data to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Has a proven track record of delivering tasks on time with full ownership and independence
  • Relentlessly sets ambitious goals and has a strong internal drive to achieve them.
  • Has a general understanding of subscription business models, including freemium, free trial, account expansion, and upsells.
  • Has previous experience in customer success, business development, and/or technical support roles.
  • Embodies our EAGER values—is ethical, adaptable, gritty, empathetic, and remarkable.
