Position Summary

A brief overview

Acts as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems. Evaluates new applications and identifies systems requirements. Evaluates new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems. Prepares communications and makes presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives.

What you will do

• Ensures the successful implementation of business analysis solutions, including leading and managing technology projects, and planning, coordinating, and executing the successful implementation of technology solutions.
• Assesses the feasibility and potential impact of adopting new business analysis advances and makes recommendations for their implementation.
• Assists with evaluating new technologies, tools, and systems that can enhance business processes and operations.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to create and maintain the product vision and roadmap.
• Conducts reviews, tests, and evaluations to ensure that technology solutions meet the defined quality standards.
• Collaborates with stakeholders and technology teams to foster strong relationships, ensuring that their needs and expectations are effectively addressed.
• Liaises with cross-functional teams, under minimal supervision, to gather and document business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and provide recommendations for technology solutions.
• Determines whether vendor deliverables align with business requirements and adhere to quality standards.
• Establishes a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhancing efficiency, streamlining processes, and implementing industry best practices.

 

Required Qualifications

• 10 years’ work experience as a business analyst with technical teams.
• 5 years’ experience in working within Scaled Agile framework.
• 5 years’ experience with Data Mapping.
• 3 years’ experience with API integration and testing tools.

The role will require you t work on-site in our Hartford, CT location.

• Strong analytical mindset demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving skills to conceptualize, apply, analyze, and/or evaluate information.
• Flexible, self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple work tasks on an on-going basis.
• Highly organized to manage multiple tasks simultaneously adjusting priorities to meet deadlines while producing high quality output.
• Adept at problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Adept at collaboration and teamwork.
• Possesses keen attention to detail.
• Healthcare or Insurance industry experience.
• Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills.
• Scaled Agile Leading SAFe Certification.
• Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) preferred.
• Certified Salesforce Administrator.
• Proficiency in Agile collaboration tools including IBM Engineering Workflow Management products, Rally, Teams etc.
• Experience as a Scaled Agile Product Owner.
• Experience in working with Contact Center Applications.
• Practice with application development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Education

• Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award
