Personal Banker Specialists are responsible for assisting customers with day to day bank transactions, opening accounts, processing loan applications and closing loans.
Job duties
· Provides customers with information for retail and business accounts from opening to closing in a thorough, accurate and timely manner
· Processes loan applications and closes loans
· Process routine financial business for customers accurately and in a timely manner
· Provide quality customer service; promptly address customer concerns
· Listen to customers and recommend solutions that best fit their needs; cross-sell and make referrals when appropriate
· Establish and maintain relationships with customers
· Maintain current knowledge of bank products, services, policies, and procedures
· Prepares and maintains various reports and records
Requirements
Skills and Abilities
· Thorough understanding of the features and benefits of all bank consumer and business products and services
· Thorough understanding of bank operating policies and procedures which impact consumer services
· Experience providing excellent customer service
· Proficient communication – in person, over the phone, and via email
· Ability to multi-task and problem-solve and strong attention to detail
· Proficient math and computer skills
· Minimum of three years of banking experience (preferred)
