What you'll do:
As a Senior Content Designer, Content Ops at SAP, you'll support a team that specializes in creating onboarding and continued learning experiences using the WalkMe platform. Your role is focused on ensuring that the foundations of a strong content design practice are built. You’ll be responsible for contributing to, managing, and documenting content patterns, guidelines, and best practices for onboarding and adoption content. You’ll take the lead in adapting current style guidelines for use in an interactive, human product onboarding experience.

Your attention to detail ensures that every interaction aligns with our design excellence standards and enhances the overall user experience.
You have many of the following characteristics:

You have a high-level, holistic, and human-centered view of content’s role in the customer experience and can articulate the importance of content in how a customer interacts with a product or service

You are experienced in using tools and software like Figma, Ditto, WalkMe, and Pendo to scale the implementation of content strategy for product design

You understand brand identity and can rapidly translate voice and tone guidelines into product content that contributes to a consistently positive customer experience

You have experience developing style guides and content patterns and components

You believe in using research to back content design choices and can help envision how the research team can support the development of content strategy
-
You have worked closely with design systems teams to ensure that content is included in the design system

You are skilled in building cross-functional alignment on content strategy by facilitating workshops with stakeholders, providing resources and training, and documenting decisions

You have a passion for innovation and a desire to push the boundaries of content design to elevate experiences to a new level

7+ years of experience in content design, UX writing, technical writing, or content strategy
-
Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related technical field such as Computer Science or Design
Expectations and tasks:

Create standards, guidelines, and patterns for high-quality, user-centric content for onboarding and learning experiences, ensuring alignment with product goals and user needs

Collaborate closely with the principal content designer, UX designers, product managers, and developers to integrate content seamlessly into product experiences

Contribute to product content design strategy to build out foundations for consistent content experiences

Participate in content reviews and provide constructive feedback
