Compensation Range:

$98,010.00 - $137,218.00

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

NP or PA

FT position available (40hrs). Five days/week (M-F), daytime hours.  

Exciting opportunity for FNP/PA in an ambulatory setting in the rapidly growing Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology division. The role includes providing care to pediatric and adult patients with a focus on allergic disorders.  

Responsibilities include: evaluation and management of acute and chronic allergic conditions for patients age 6+, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and communicating results (including labs, imaging, allergy skin testing, pulmonary function testing, and food and medication challenges), providing coverage for subcutaneous immunotherapy clinics and infusion centers, and participation in the education of trainees and new team members consistent with the goals of the UR teaching institution.

Primary practice location will be Rochester, NY and Canandaigua, NY. Occasional travel to other offices in Monroe County or regional sites (Batavia, Geneseo) may be asked if provider coverage is needed.

 

Opportunities for participation in department-based initiatives and CME activities are available. APP mentoring and support is available to all new hires.  

Must demonstrate excellent communication and critical thinking skills and be able to work both independently and in a team-based setting. Will consider motivated new NP/PA graduates. Requires certification in NYS as FNP or PA as well as national certification. BLS certification is required.
