About the role
Definitive Logic, a ManTech Company, is currently seeking an experienced Information Systems Training Specialist in Tampa, FL to join our team. This is an on-site position.
You will be responsible for providing functional support, training, and application help desk support to our clients to ensure timely and accurate submission of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM), Budget Estimate Submission (BES), President’s Budget (PB), and Funds Execution products.
Be a leader in our high performing team that provides initial and refresher training to Enterprise personnel on our client’s existing and future Financial Management Systems, Applications, Analytics, and Reporting tools. The ideal candidate will have recent and relevant experience with OneStream and/or Hyperion, as well as data analytics and visualization tools such as QLIK, Power BI, and Oracle Business Intelligence. In short, this position will operate as a trusted advisor that helps our customers achieve their goals.

Responsibilities
- Train end users on how to use the applications we create.
- Work with on how to best leverage the system to perform their respective functions.
- Assist, explain, and demonstrate solutions.
- Help the team identify and document user requirements.
- Assis users with submitting Change Requests for new or changing business processes.
- Serve as liaison between the users and the technical team to ensure system modifications meet stated requirements and objectives. Master Data Management
- Gain a conceptual understanding of master data elements, their dependencies, and relationships when entering data to the system.
- Gain the ability to identify other areas affected and additional information required.
- Coordinate with users and leadership to verify information accuracy.
- Enter and update new and existing master data elements.
- Track, troubleshoot and resolve data related issues. End User Support and Training
- Provide superior customer service and support.
- Troubleshoot end user issues, assist in resolutions, escalate to the technical team as needed.
- Assist the team with providing visibility into all resource information invaluable to senior leaders in the decision-making process.
- Create test plans, user guides, and training materials for applications, analytics, and reporting tools.
- Provide initial and refresher training courses (Beginner – Advanced) to all personnel using or relying on USSOCOM Financial Management Systems and Applications
- Training platforms will include in-person classroom, virtual oA bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance, or equivalent work experience. Deliverables
- Create, maintain, and deliver annual training plans.
- Conduct an annual review and update of user guides and training materials.
- Make recommendations for types of training, frequency, target audience, delivery format, and materials.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance, or equivalent work experience in DoD financial management.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting DoD Component level and/or USSOCOM Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) processes.
- Must live in or be willing to relocate to Tampa Bay area.
- Secret clearance is required.
Desired Qualifications
- Former Finance NCO with Budgeting background (or GS equivalent) that has left or is leaving Service.
- Experience in training end users on how to use applications.
- Be a self-starter.
- Be an enthusiastic people person.
