The injection molding department produces a variety of high-quality plastic components from resin pellets that are utilized by both internal and external customers. In this role you will perform a variety of tasks including monitoring and inspecting presses as well as performing second operations such as clipping, gating, or sorting by following Standard Operating Procedures and high-quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Uses different fixtures to verify that the dimensions of the molded parts are in accordance with quality and work order requirements. 

• Performs different operations on molded products using a variety of cutting tools and techniques and by closely following standard operating procedures.  

• Safely removes molded parts from the machine conveyor belt or robotic arm by using appropriate protective gear and handling tools. 

• Places molded parts in designated cooling area to allow for controlled cooling processes. 

• Carefully handles molded materials to the oven for baking process. 

• Packages finished orders in accordance with specifications, ensuring proper protection and handling.   

• Uses SAP and other electronic systems to find, record and generate documentation throughout the production process. Records all output and production data in ERP systems and maintains compliance with all online training and documentation requirements.     

• Ensures product is consistent with established specifications through Camline software by utilizing different measuring tools, such as calipers and drop/height indicators.
