The Opportunity 

 

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to organize, schedule, and assign work on production equipment, including daily, monthly, semi-annual, and annual rebuilds. This role involves close collaboration with production management and maintenance personnel to ensure the facility meets required standards. The ideal candidate will coach and develop Maintenance Mechanics and identify and implement process optimization projects in a safe and environmentally friendly manner. This permanent, full-time position will report to the Engineering Maintenance Manager and is fully onsite. Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:   

 

• Lead Maintenance Teams: Spearhead the repair and servicing of critical equipment, including motors, pumps, and conveyors.
• Oversee Facility Upkeep: Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of all plant equipment and facilities.
• Enhance Preventative Programs: Develop and refine preventative maintenance programs to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Model Company Values: Uphold and exemplify company values, policies, and procedures in all actions.
• Collaborate for Success: Work closely with supervisors to achieve and exceed production goals.
• Innovate Solutions: Create and implement innovative solutions to address plant-related challenges.
• Ensure Compliance: Conduct audits to ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Mentor Future Leaders: Coach and mentor Maintenance Mechanics, fostering growth and development within the team.

  

 The Skills you will bring to the team

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing maintenance-related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to solve practical problems and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
