Job Description
As the Senior Director Product Management, you'll lead an amazing team of product managers and owners to define and deliver the vision and strategic roadmap for our platform, which supports key product verticals like Assessment, Practice, and Journeys. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Chief Product Officer and other Product Managers to ensure alignment of platform strategies with overall company objectives.
Your primary customers will be Renaissance product teams who work directly with schools. You’ll develop deep understanding of the complex challenges these teams are facing and lead your team in building systems that tackle those challenges.
We believe interoperability work should be lean and human-centered, just like any other software development work. You & your team will use practices like Lean, User-Centered Design, and CI/CD to move quickly and stay focused on what matters.
As a Senior Director Product Management you will:
- Lead and Mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability.
- Develop and articulate a clear vision and roadmap for the platform, ensuring it supports a range of product verticals including Assessment, Practice, and end-to-end experiences like Journeys.
- Collaborate with the CTO and interface with the CPO, Product leaders , and Engineering leaders to align platform development with the broader product strategy and company goals.
- Drive the development and implementation of core services such as Identity, Rostering, Provisioning, and Licensing to create a seamless and integrated user experience across our platform.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and prioritize platform enhancements that deliver business value.
- Act as a key spokesperson for the platform, articulating the value proposition to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Stay connected to industry trends, technological advancements such as AI, leveraging this knowledge to maintain our competitive edge.
Qualifications
For this role as Senior Director Product Management, you must have:
- 10+ years of progressively accountable product strategy, product lifecycle, product commercial management experience, with demonstrated results of success
- Experience leading Product Management professionals to achieve high degrees of customer satisfaction, and attaining commercial product goals
- Ability to prioritize work, make tradeoffs, drive deadlines, and deliver projects on time, on budget
- Demonstrated experience nurturing a culture that celebrates diversity of thought, risk-taking, openness to new ideas, and a fail-fast mentality
Bonus Points:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Operations, Marketing, or equivalent; or a Bachelor’s degree in another discipline plus substantial Product Management experience, training and/or certification; MBA a plus

Salary Range: $160,300 to $220,400 This range is based on national market data and may vary by location.
