Job Description

About the role:

This exciting position will be part of the global MAGMA Materials and Infrastructure Advancement team, and will be responsible for the design, development and deployment of new, innovative technologies and methodologies focused in the areas of sustainability and infrastructure.  You will have the opportunity define and drive strategic objectives in support of a variety of breakthrough, disruptive innovations being developed by MAGMA for glass container manufacturing.  This role will also lead the development and growth of a small but agile cross-functional and diverse team of employees, contractors and consultants in pursuit of these objectives.

Qualifications

About you:

• You're passionate about glass and care care about sustainability and the planet
• You love teaching and mentoring people
• You have a growth mindset, are people-oriented and passionate about technology advancement
• You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering area, such as Electrical, or Mechanical - MBA or Master's degree will be a plus.
• Communication is one of your strengths and you have a good background interfacing with all levels of a large organization
• Good knowledge of engineering and construction principles and processes
• Solid understanding of CAD systems, document management, and design processes.
• Strong background of utilities and industrial manufacturing plant systems industrial or manufacturing plant systems.
• Experience working in a global enviroment, leading and growing teams of engineers and designers

What we offer:

Salary Range:  The expected salary range for this position is between $105,000 and $131,200 USD + 15% of annual bonus).  Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
