Position Overview:

The OnMedia Business Specialist performs a variety of business functions including accounts receivable and accounts payable.  This position will assist in preparing and analyzing financial, sales and budget reports for the division.

Position Responsibilities:

• Work as liaison between the OnMedia field offices and corporate accounting to provide information for month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing.  May assist in preparation of monthly close folder.
• Assist with the management of accounts receivable responsibilities.
• Prepare weekly and monthly statistical reports, variance analysis and cash management reports as required by supervisor.
• Assist with preparing and maintaining account reconciliation and reports for various A/P related general ledger accounts.
• Assist with maintenance of all office equipment (i.e., copier, fax, telephone system etc.)
• Assist with bank deposits as required by supervisor.
• Review invoices to verify proper GL codes.
• Assist in maintaining and tracking of vendor contracts.
• Assist with preparation of commissions.
• May be required to travel between offices for business and travel on an occasional basis.
• Requires regular attendance to report to work per assigned work schedule.
• Performs other duties as required.

 

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics, or two years of experience in related field preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with computer software and technology.  Excel expertise is required.
• Adaptability to learn and use current financial software in place.
• Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and well organized.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform all the duties and responsibilities as described.
