Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an analyst to join our Broadband Grant Office, joining our growing team. As an analyst in the Broadband Grant Office, you will be responsible for working on compliance and business issues associated with state and federal broadband grant programs, across our 20-state serving area. You will work closely with colleagues in the legal department and teams across the business in a highly collaborative environment as you implement, advise, and develop programs to assist with broadband grant programs. We are looking for someone who is organized and detail-oriented while eager to learn new skills.
As an Analyst, Broadband Grant Office, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis of business situations to contextualize and summarize data for end users
- Provide operational and process support to the field operations, mass markets, network and customer services team supporting front line execution.
- Maintain the accuracy of the broadband grant compliance programs, including project changes, communications, reporting, and filing of compliance documents
- Prepare, review, and track all documentation, changes, and processes for Brightspeed’s broadband grants
- Design and maintain operational guides and documentation to ensure consistency of broadband operations across all projects
- Review and validate record detail and reports to ensure performance results for the regulated and non-regulated broadband networks are calculated in compliance with applicable state and federal requirements
- Work across various internal organizations to review potential process changes that may have performance-impacting results. Proactively assist those organizations to ensure changes do not result in the company being out of compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor remedies and penalties to ensure compliance with regulations
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical work experience
- Experience with operational and project management systems and applications
- Exceptional organization and problem solving skills
- Eager to learn and be a part of something new
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to express and articulate your ideas and thoughts via written and oral communication

- Having experience tracking projects from start to finish
- The desire and ability to identify areas for process improvement and recommend/embrace change
- Having paralegal or equivalent experience
