Job Description

Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories is searching for an Automation Engineer to support our Bio/Pharmaceutical Quality Engineering group in Lancaster, PA. 

*NOTE* Candidates must have previous experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Experience within regulated industry such as pharmaceutical or medical device (prefer GxP knowledge)
• Excellent customer service, communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Strong business understanding
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to research and learn new techniques quickly, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Bachelors degree in engineering, physical science, or information technology
• Three years project management to include (but not limited to) establishing project timelines, resource coordination, and managing budget
• Three years’ experience with automated building control software (e.g. Rockwell, Siemens), PLC controls, and/or general programming languages
• Direct project experience involving implementation of automated instrumentation or control solutions
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and engineering documents;  Experience writing technical documents (e.g. procedures) and management of related project documentation
• Understanding of electrical design, concepts, and basic circuits
• Strong technical and analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work additional hours as necessary to meet business objectives
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
