Overview
As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will contribute to the analytics engineering function at National Debt Relief, optimizing existing analytics and BI data pipelines, data transformations, and Python automation scripts. This role requires a highly technically skilled individual with strong business acumen who can work closely with business stakeholders and the Analytics & BI teams to deliver clean, accurate data rapidly. In the short term, you will focus on delivering curated datasets to Salesforce CRMA and maintaining existing infrastructure. Long term, you will help lead the migration of the analytics layer to a cloud data warehouse, implement BI dashboards, and leverage tooling such as DBT and Snowflake to enhance processes and pipeline efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Optimize and maintain analytics and BI data pipelines, ensuring efficient data processing and transformation.
- Develop and manage data transformations, API calls, and automation scripts.
- Deliver curated data sets to Salesforce CRMA.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of analytics infrastructure.Build and maintain the analytics layer in the cloud data warehouse, ensuring data accuracy and availability.
- Help lead the migration of the analytics layer to the DW back-end via SQL.
- Implement best practices for data governance, security, and quality management.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating new tools and techniques as appropriate.
Qualifications
Required Skills / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in developing and optimizing data pipelines.
- Experience with DBT for data engineering automation.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Azure, Redshift, or GCP. Snowflake preferred.
- Experience building dashboards in an enterprise business intelligence platform such as Sigma, Tableau, or similar. Sigma preferred.
- Strong understanding of data integration, transformation, and visualization.
- Experience in building analytics layers in practical implementations.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and quality management practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables.
Preferred Skills / Experience:
- Experience in financial services or a related industry.
- Front line client-facing experience.
- Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts.
- Experience with API development and integration.

Compensation Information
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for each position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This good faith pay range is provided in compliance with NYC law and the laws of other jurisdictions that may require a salary range in job postings.
