Summary

Position Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintenance and also for implementation of AS9100 approved Quality Management System (QMS) across multi-site operations

• QMS standardization across multi-site operations

• Responsibilities include alignment of procedures/documents, with corporate guidance, across various businesses and supporting AS9100 compliance requirements

• Regulatory alignment of ITAR, DCMA requirements for Quality department.

• Development of Internal Audit process along with training team members per AS9100 compliance and performing required audits to improve Quality culture for multi-site operations

• Perform required internal audits per AS9100 compliance, capturing any risks through the internal audit process and driving actions for improvements.

• Implementation of CARB (Corrective Actions Boards) for tracking, reviewing and driving toward effective closure for CARS (Corrective Actions or CAPA)

• CARs/CAPA ownership and effectiveness verification

• Responsible for hosting third party auditors from AS9100 registrar, customers or other government agencies as required.

• Perform any GAP analysis, risk assessments and/or flow down requirements to ensure compliance to AS9100, AS9102 and/or Government/Customer requirements

• Responsible for successful planning, preparation and completion of AS9100 recertification audits, surveillance audits and related activities agreed with the manager for a strong QMS

• Cross functional implementation of QMS tools and procedures along with required trainings

• Supplier and sub-tier QMS compliance monitoring

• Responsible for managing and maintaining an effective Calibration Management system, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the measurement instruments/equipment per QMS.

• Implementation of effectiveness QMS training program and maintenance of the same

• Implementation of Quality Stamp Control program and maintenance of the same

• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in managing Risk Based Quality Management System

• Minimum 8 years of experience in leading successful implementation of AS9100 Rev D quality system from a reputed third party registrar

• Minimum 10 years of experience in successful implementation of AS9100 certification program

Physical Demands:

• Ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment (Constant)

• Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent)

Special Requirements:

• U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.

• Occasionally may be required to travel within the Continental U.S.

The salary range for this role is:

$97,680 - $138,600
