Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Specialist (Hybrid) to join the Digital Marketing Operations Team in West Hartford, CT. We are looking for a results-oriented Digital Marketer who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of web, email, and marketing automation activities across multiple Legrand business units. This individual will be responsible for measuring and reporting the effectiveness of our digital marketing campaigns and making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement. The candidate will need to keep up with the current evolution of online marketing technology, have strong analytical skills, and possess a drive for improvement to the business. The Digital Marketing Specialist will operate within a complex organization and will work cross-functionally with multiple teams, businesses, and roles.
What Will You Do?
- Partner with the various marketing teams across Legrand North America’s business units, prioritizing and managing the digital needs of multiple projects and campaigns.
- Manage and update Legrand web properties and channels, ensuring a best-in-class experience for site users.
- Align digital strategies with business goals by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Proactively seek out areas for optimization across digital platforms and make recommendations that add strategic value to business marketing efforts.
- Brainstorm new and creative digital growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing teams and creative agencies to develop and execute digital product launches and email and web marketing campaigns in accordance with brand standards.
- Manage reporting tools and oversee data analysis and conclusion/insight development.
- Foster a test-and-learn environment by encouraging experimentation and rapid iteration.
- Implement and optimize personalized, targeted marketing campaigns through our email and automation platforms.
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
- Measure and optimize campaign performance to deliver relevant marketing content to customers and influencers at the right time during the buying cycle.
- Be a digital subject matter expert who can explain digital outcomes to non-digital natives.
- Adapt to evolving business needs, stepping outside traditional role boundaries to support strategic initiatives and drive meaningful impact.
- Be a team player who possesses natural leadership abilities and can act as a strategy lead/consultant and digital subject matter expert across a range of projects.
- Conduct user tests, surveys, and interviews to gather feedback and understand experience to develop recommendations for optimization and improved satisfaction.
- Travel less than 10%.
- Work out of the West Hartford office two days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday) and work efficiently and productively in a remote setting 3 days a week (Monday, Thursday, Friday).
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or Technology.
- 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, technology, or a related function.
- Has experience working within content management systems (CMS) such as SAP Hybris, Drupal, WordPress, Wix, Sitecore, etc.
- Experienced in Salesforce CRM and Email Marketing Automation Tools such as Pardot/Account Engagement, Mailchimp, Constant Contact or Hubspot.
- Proficient in Google Analytics/GA4 and website conversion metrics (CPM, CTR, CPC, CPL), with a proven ability to analyze data, identify meaningful patterns, and present actionable insights from data.
- Strong analytical skills to effectively assess and communicate metrics and effectiveness of digital initiatives.
- A self-starter, with the ability to thrive within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to take initiative in meetings and contribute thoughtful ideas, confidently offering input and driving strategic discussions.
- Highly organized, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to partner cross-functionally in an effective, professional, and collaborative manner.
- Understanding of agile marketing principles, project management frameworks, and sprint methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
