Role and Missions — What you will do 🚀

As a Senior Game Data Analyst at Homa, you will be at the forefront of our most ambitious project to date, collaborating directly and exclusively with the studio dedicated to crafting this groundbreaking game from scratch. Your expertise will be vital in shaping our data-driven strategies and enhancing player experiences.

Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

• Strategic Insight Development: Partner with stakeholders to translate business goals into actionable analytics tasks. You will dive deep into project requirements, ensuring clarity and focus from the outset, making complex data accessible and relevant.
• Data Pipeline Optimization: Play a critical role in deploying and fine-tuning our initial soft launch data pipelines. Your keen attention to detail will ensure stakeholders can effectively leverage insights and make informed decisions that impact the game’s success.
• Collaborative Quality Assurance: Join a team that values high standards. Engage in regular stand-ups and one-on-one check-ins to share insights and elevate the quality of each other’s work. Your analytical prowess will foster a collaborative environment where everyone grows together.

Requirements

As a Data Expert, you'll apply both your technical expertise and exceptional problem-solving abilities to drive data insights. If you recognize yourself in the following description, you’re the one!

• 5 years of experience, ideally working on Mobile Games orin a rigorous, data-driven field (e.g., Finance, Biomedical Science, Academia, etc.).
• Advanced SQL proficiency in languages like Postgres, BigQuery, or MySQL, and the ability to manage complex data sets efficiently.
• Strong experience with DBT for building scalable and efficient data transformation layers.
• Proficiency in data visualization using tools like Tableau or Looker to turn data into actionable insights.
• Exceptional deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach unstructured problems, synthesize scattered data points, and develop innovative solutions from scratch.
• Strong foundation in applied statistics, such as A/B testing, to validate and inform your recommendations.
