Job Summary

We are seeking a detail oriented and experienced QA Lead to oversee quality assurance activities across enterprise web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in functional and non-functional testing web, mobile responsiveness and test planning along with experience in automation frameworks and mentoring junior QA engineers. A strong background in performance and load testing process improvement and an automation first mindset is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance Leadership
    Lead QA efforts across multiple projects ensuring high quality delivery of web mobile and enterprise applications.
    Drive process improvements and advocate for an automation first approach across QA practices.
    Define and maintain comprehensive test plans test cases and test strategies for functional and nonfunctional requirements.
    Review and validate test coverage and execution across teams.
  • Hands-On Testing Automation
    Perform manual and automated testing of web Mobile applications ensuring responsiveness usability and reliability.
    Build and maintain automation test scripts using industry standard tools and frameworks e.g. Selenium Cypress Playwright.
    Develop and manage a regression test bed to support continuous testing and deployment cycles.
  • Mentorship Collaboration
    Mentor and guide junior QA engineers reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback.
    Collaborate with developers, product owners and business analysts to ensure clear understanding of requirements and quality expectations.
    Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
  • Strong expertise in functional non-functional and web, Mobile application testing.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks.
  • Proven ability to create and manage regression test suites.
  • Experience in responsive design testing across browsers and devices.
  • Familiarity with CICD pipelines and test integration.
  • Excellent communication documentation and leadership skills.
  • Experience in performance and load testing.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools e.g. Jira TestRail.
  • Experience in the insurance domain or other regulated industries.

Salary Transparency:

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $85K/Yr. to $100K/Yr.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
