Position Overview:

This is a skilled position requiring the effective management of concrete, aggregate and hot mix asphalt sales and customer service to residential and commercial customers for Evans Construction, Ready Mix Concrete, Asphalt and Aggregates Divisions in the Jackson Hole, Wyoming area.

 

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions):

• Safety of all personnel working within the business unit.
• Will be responsible for fulfilling customer needs and services.
• Personnel recruitment, selection, training, coaching, and retention.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
• Participate in the bidding process.
• Prepare bid packages, estimates and analysis of subcontractor bids for projects of smaller size.
• Prior to job startup, review with the job foreman the project plans, specifications and review the project startup list to ensure that each bid item is understood, and how the company gets paid for each.
• Aid in management of Command Batch E-Ticketing.
• Will create accurate bids and proposals and ensure that AR has all quotes to ensure proper billing; coupled with verification of sales tickets for pricing prior to billing.
• Will communicate with contractors, dispatchers and plant personnel
• Continuously improve product sales and customer relations.
• Development of budgets and management of the operations within the business unit to meet and exceed established budgets.
• Other duties as assigned per the supervisor

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Operations, Sales, Quality Control, Customer Service/Dispatch, and Supervisory Experience Preferred.
• A minimum of a class B CDL is preferred yet not mandatory.

 

Knowledge/Skill Requirements

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of concrete mix designs and aggregates
• At least one year in concrete industry preferred
• Some sales experience preferred
