We are looking for a talented and motivated Frontend Engineer to join our Growth Engineering team. In this role, you will focus on building intuitive, high-performing, and scalable user interfaces that drive our growth initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, leveraging technologies like ReactJS, TypeScript, Postgres, and AWS within a serverless architecture.

You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager, Growth Engineering.

You will be based in Palo Alto, California, and in-office collaboration is required for at least one day per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Take ownership and drive initiatives for specific segments within the product.
Develop high-quality, secure, and scalable code while adhering to best practices, including thorough unit testing and peer code reviews.
Design innovative solutions to address challenges, aligning with both the product and technology roadmaps to achieve strategic goals.
Develop and maintain applications and services using TypeScript, Postgres, and AWS in a serverless environment.
Optimize systems and processes to improve customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to uphold high engineering standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and incorporate them into our technology stack where appropriate.

You Have:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on ReactJS and TypeScript
Proficiency in TypeScript, Postgres, and AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3, etc.).
Understanding of software design patterns, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
A lean mindset—focus on delivering customer value by minimizing waste, optimizing workflows, fostering continuous improvement, and prioritizing in an iterative manner.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a team-oriented mindset.
Experience with growth-focused projects or optimizing user journeys is a plus.
