Responsibilities

Under direction of the Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) or designee and the Director of Professional Development to facilitate the education of newly registered RN's in all essential functions of the Staff RN role including patient care, professionalism, teamwork, communication, safety and quality improvement. Serve as a role model at all times, performing duties at the expert level in the areas of practice/consultation, education, staff development, research, leadership, etc. The Practice Clinical Coordinator is directly responsible for curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Nurse Residency program for newly registered nurses.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor Science of Nursing (BSN) degree is required.
  • A Masters Degree in Nursing is strongly preferred.
  • Current Massachusetts RN registration is required.
  • ANA Certification in area of own specialty is strongly preferred.
  • Duties require maintaining competency within areas of own position responsibilities.
  • Experience as Nursing Clinical Instructor preferred.
  • Over five (5) years of related work experience is required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. 

     

  • Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. 

Pay Range

USD $95,908.80 - USD $170,996.80 /Hr.
