Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Provide age appropriate Occupational Therapy care in order to meet the needs of patients with various diagnoses in the acute care setting.   Major duties include: patient treatment, completing all documentation requirements accurately and timely.  The primary function is patient care, unless otherwise specified. May be required to rotate between clinical areas and will be required to participate in holiday and weekend coverage.  Must commit to 2 weekend days per month.  Must have the ability to effectively communicate with patients and staff from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. 

 

Salary range: $48.52-63.91 hourly


Job Qualifications

  • CA OT license
  • BLS from AHA or ARC
  • Acute care experience preferred
  • Ability to work as a member of the team, including sharing knowledge, giving and receiving feedback, taking initiative to assist others, problem solving and providing an atmosphere conducive to learning.  
  • More than 2 years of experience qualifies for OT 2 title.
