In this role you will: 

• Be responsible for and lead the certification activities for aircraft seating products, with the Boeing Commercial Airplanes business unit, to produce STCs that allow for the post-delivery installation of new seating products 

• Be a technical focal and (Boeing) representative for stress, engineering and certification topics relating to integration of airplane seating  

• Perform analytical and finite element (FE) calculations, assess and predict structural failure modes incl. execution of root cause analysis 

• Compile structural substantiation documents and review data from our suppliers for integration approval of seats (all types of seats including unique features) into the airframe 

• Work closely with our Boeing teams and other stakeholders to ensure the aircraft cabin is delivered in the correct condition and quality
