Hospitality Security Officer – Overnight Shift | $20/HR + Weekly Pay

About the RoleCitadel Security USA is currently hiring a dependable Overnight Hospitality Security Officer to join our team at a premier hotel property in Aurora, Colorado. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests and staff during overnight hours. You will interact regularly with General Managers and department heads and be responsible for upholding safety standards while delivering exceptional customer service. 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct physical patrols to detect and deter potential threats
• Secure entrances, exits, and restricted areas
• Respond to emergencies (fire, medical, evacuation) per established procedures
• Record accurate, detailed reports of daily activity and incidents
• Receive and document after-hours deliveries
• Locate and log found property, assisting in reuniting items with owners
• Collaborate with site management and hotel staff to maintain a secure environment
• Execute emergency response protocols and support evacuation or shelter-in-place actions
• Perform additional duties and special assignments as directed

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Denver Merchant Guard Card (required)
• Clean background and drug screen
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Exemplary customer service and professional demeanor
• Must own a dark-colored suit (uniform standard)
• Must have a smartphone (for scheduling and timekeeping)
• Reliable transportation and proximity to Aurora area
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods during shift
• Basic computer proficiency
• Availability for overnight shifts and flexible scheduling
• CPR, first aid, or crowd control experience preferred but not required

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in security, hospitality, or law enforcement
• Knowledge of hotel operations or customer service-driven environments
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures
