We are funded by top-tier venture funds such as Pear Ventures, Sozo Ventures, and 1843 Capital, and are generating revenue from life-science partners.

As a Sr. Back End Engineer at Manta Cares, you will get to:
Serve as the first in-house back-end engineer, working closely with the head of engineering and the product team
Take ownership of existing back-end code and continue development towards launch and beyond
Contribute to the scalability and reliability of our systems as we prepare for and execute our launch
Specifically, you will get to:
Quickly onboard and understand our existing back-end codebase
Implement improvements, optimizations, and bug fixes in preparation for launch
Design and develop new features and APIs using Golang
Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of our back-end systems
Implement best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation
Collaborate with external developers and the head of engineering
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production post-launch
Yo should have:
5+ years or equivalent experience
Proficiency in Golang
Mastery of development tooling (git or similar, build tools,
Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Working knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL)
You might also have experience in:
Microservices architectures
Containerization (Docker)
CI/CD pipelines
Terraform
High-traffic or scaling applications
Healthcare/life sciences tech companies
HIPAA or other user data regulations
Debugging issues in production environments
Understanding of business needs and product design principles
