Associate IT Director, Collaboration Engineer

The Position

Flagship is seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate IT Director - Collaboration Engineer to spearhead our collaboration platforms. As the designated "Product Owner" for all collaboration tools within the organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless and efficient communication and collaboration across our enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

 Strategic Collaboration Leadership: As the Associate Director, you will leverage your profound expertise in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Zoom, Notion, and Slack to collaborate closely with the Head of Core Engineering. Together, you will develop and execute strategies for the effective management and continuous enhancement of these platforms, aligning them with the organization's goals and objectives.

User Experience Enhancement: You will champion the creation and leadership of user education initiatives in collaboration with our IT Training team. Your goal is to elevate the user experience to unparalleled levels, ensuring that our teams can maximize the potential of our collaboration tools.

Governance and Compliance: You will take ownership of crafting and implementing governance policies aligned with the Microsoft 365 platform and all other collaboration tools. Your attention to detail and commitment to compliance will help maintain the integrity and security of our data and operations.

Technical Expertise: As a subject matter expert, you will provide secondary support in tier 3 incident resolution, contribute to technical design discussions, and play a vital role in shaping new product updates. Your insights and technical acumen will be instrumental in keeping our collaboration ecosystem at the cutting edge.

Resource Management: You will be responsible for directing resources for the deployment and maintenance of our Enterprise Ecosystem, ensuring its reliability and scalability. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven track record as a Product Owner or similar role, demonstrating a strong focus on Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• In-depth understanding of Microsoft 365 platform capabilities, features, and industry best practices.
• Effective project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, capable of addressing intricate technical challenges with efficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, adept at engaging stakeholders across various organizational levels.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

This role may require the provision of off-hours support and occasional travel.
