Job Description Summary:
The senior CI and TM Analyst will serve within Office of Threat Management's I&A program to review, analyze, and provide assessments and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of Draper’s counterintelligence (CI), Insider Threat (InT), and Investigative efforts. The Analyst will collaborate across Draper’s functions and programs, with multiple sponsors, government CI and intelligence analytical units, to help develop threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments to inform Draper leadership and to protect relevant personnel and technologies.Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities
Assist I&A in advancing analytic and assessment capacity for OTM’s CI, Insider Threat, and Investigative actions, to enhance activities, identity trends, and assist in strategic threat mitigation.
Increase understanding and responsiveness to current threats, providing unclassified and classified products, insight relevant to OTM, Security, Draper leadership, and its government sponsors.
Provide, organize, and support external analytic OTM briefings to Draper and external leaders on relevant CI and Insider Threats.
Assist OTM members and external partners in reviewing and analyzing inputs from CI and Cyber CI support.
Oversee the organization, management, and communication of I&A’s catalogue of threat information on classified systems.
Assist I&A in the development of threat and vulnerability assessments, tailored to Draper and its programs.
Assist OTM and Security in measuring performance, impact, effectiveness, and refining strategic priorities.
Develop and advance collaborative analytic networks among Draper functions, and with relevant programs, sponsors, external CI units and working groups relevant to Draper.
Provide tailored classified products for Draper Security and leadership, in coordination with government entities.
Develop external analytic partnerships to enhance OTM’s ability to conduct checks, as well as supply chain risk management, insider risk assessments, and foreign influence analysis.
Collaborate with partners to inform tailored unclassified and classified vulnerability and threat assessments.
Skills/Abilities
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Significant ability and experience in building positive relationships across functions and organizations to enhance mission synergy and maintain positive and mutually-supportive partnerships.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Word, Access, and Excel.
Keen understanding of current and historic InT, espionage, and sabotage cases, indicators, methods, dynamics.
This position requires Top Secret security clearance eligibility. SAP and/or SCI accesses and a CI polygraph may be required. Candidate must maintain clearance eligibility.
Strong history of analytic collaboration with diverse organizations to produce and disseminate multi-disciplined assessments for employee awareness and to empower senior decision making and organizational countermeasures.
Previous experience conducting or directly assisting field CI and/or InT activities to include interviews, suspicious reporting, information assessment, force and program protection.
Experience assessing how evolving global security dynamics can affect a company and its workforce and in supporting force protection initiatives inside and/or outside the U.S.
Education
Master’s Degree in Intelligence, International Affairs, National Security Studies or related fields.
CI trained and certified to Under Secretary of Defense/Intelligence (USD/I) approved standards pursuant to DoD Directive 5240.02 or similar national-level certification a distinct plus.
