We're looking for a Junior Art Director with impeccable taste and a relentless focus and passion for their craft. Someone who is driven by the idea of pioneering new ways for brands to reach people through meaningful interactions on existing and emerging digital platforms. You have strong opinions about typography and color. You’re equal parts artist and entrepreneur. You’re comfortable being uncomfortable and you’re easily able to bounce back and forth between the day-to-day and new briefs / big idea thinking.
Responsibilities-
- Concept creative platforms, visual approaches and digital products including dot com experiences, filters, games and utilities.
- Collaborate and partner with your cross functional team including strategy, account service, media, technology and production.
- Participate in brainstorms and take direction and feedback from creative directors and strategy leads.
- Confidence to present your work both internally and externally with the support of your peers.
- Creatively oversee productions and help see the creative vision through completion.
Requirements
- Ideally some years of agency-side experience, open to fresh out of school.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Figma.
- Strong understanding of mobile and desktop UX/UI.
- Strong understanding of culture and the internet.
- Keen eye for what works and the communication skills to explain why.
- Knack for picking up brands’ visual identities and the ability to execute against them.
- Commitment to excellence — working nonstandard hours when necessary, anticipating issues and communicating with diplomacy, identifying emerging platforms and trends to drive innovation.
Base salary range: $55k-$75k plus bonus potential.
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each hire.
