Operating at the intersection of messaging and commerce, you will help enable a smooth conversational commerce experience, impacting millions of users and setting the stage for our next phase of growth.</p> <p></p> <h2><strong>THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Leading the design, development, and optimization of data integrations and processing systems.</li> <li>Architecting and implementing scalable data pipelines to efficiently handle large volumes of data.</li> <li>Designing and developing data models to support various analytical and reporting needs.</li> <li>Developing integrations with external systems to enable seamless data flow.</li> <li>Leading the development of TypeScript SDKs to facilitate pipeline management and deployment and enable third-party integrations.</li> <li>Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>YOU'LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND VALUES</strong></h2> <ul> <li>University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.</li> <li>5+ years of experience in data engineering and integrations.</li> <li><strong>Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript</strong> and at least one other high-level programming language (Java, Go, Rust, Python).</li> <li>Experience <strong>deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms</strong>, preferably GCP.</li> <li>Strong <strong>understanding of cloud services</strong> such as compute, storage, networking, and security.</li> <li>Good understanding of <strong>data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing</strong> principles.</li> <li>Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as <strong>Terraform or CloudFormation.</strong></li> <li>Experience designing and implementing scalable and reliable data processing pipelines.</li> <li>Familiarity with data protection regulations would be a big plus such as GDPR and designing compliant data architectures.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.</li> <li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li> </ul> <p><em>Meeting all requirements is not necessary to apply.
