Overview

We are currently seeking a Credit Analyst in our C&I banking group. The Credit Analyst will work with the team’s Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers to perform due diligence, underwrite new credit facilities and to monitor and maintain the loan portfolio. Primary responsibilities include analyzing financial data to determine the merits of loan requests, recommending appropriate credit structures, and identifying cross selling/referral opportunities for other bank products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare credit memorandums to be submitted to senior management team with comprehensive analysis for prospective and existing clients.
  • Assist with portfolio management, including reporting monitoring and updating internal reports and compliance programs.
  • Support senior officers in all aspects of underwriting and closing deals.
  • General Support of C&I Portfolio Team (i.e. Spreading Financials, due diligence searches, funding and documentation process and coordinating with back office, external counsel and other counterparts).
  • Respond to client requests.
  • Complete special projects as needed for other team members and senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or concentration in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • 2-4 years of experience, ideally with credit training or experience in financial modeling and analysis
  • Strong writing and communication skills are critical
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work within set timelines while maintaining quality and attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic work environment

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $67,000.00/Yr. - USD $75,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
