The Global Finance Business Process Owner reports directly to the Head of Group Reporting & Finance Operations, Mie Boesen Huss. This is a global position based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Travel days should be expected to support our regions and operations worldwide and ad hoc projects.

Key Responsibilities

As Global Finance Business Process Owner, you will be working closely with Finance and other cross-functional colleagues in the Svitzer Head Office, in our regions and with our Global Service Centre, to deliver on the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Have a key role in supporting the roll-out and implementation of standardised finance processes after the implementation of our new ERP system/Microsoft D365.
• Design, automate and implement end-to-end finance processes within accounting-to-report and support group compliance requirements. This also includes ensuring the standard operational procedures, SOPs, are kept updated.
• Close cooperation with our Global Service Centre on finance process initiatives, improvements and projects.
• Support ad hoc projects, when relevant.

You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Essential to your success in this role is your ability to collaborate and build strong relationships across various levels and functions of the Svitzer organisation.

In addition:

• A relevant master’s degree in accounting, auditing or finance and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with process design/process mapping in areas such as Accounting-to-report, Purchase-to-Pay, or Order-to-Cash
• Good understanding of IT and an acknowledgment that IT and automation is an integrated part of all business processes
• Fluency in both oral and written English
• You must hold a valid Danish residence and work permit
• Experience in Microsoft D365 is an advantage
