Job Title:        Senior Manager, Controls

Location:        Conyers, GA             

 

What we’re looking for:

 

We are seeking a motivated Controls Manager who can lead a team of engineers to develop industry-leading controls solutions for commercial and industrial refrigeration customers.

 

What you’ll be responsible for in this role:

 

• Build a world-class controls engineering team for commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.  The team includes engineers at multiple domestic sites, as well as international.
• Lead the team to develop digital solutions to optimize quality, reliability, and performance of the refrigeration systems.
• Collaborate with the product managers to establish a strategy to optimize the customer experience with startup, service, and support of the refrigeration system.
• Conduct lab validation testing of control schemes for optimal performance on new product platforms.
• Adapt the standard control schemes to support specific customer job requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve factory and field performance issues related to the control system.

 

What are the basic qualifications?

 

• BS or MS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10 years of experience managing a technical team.
• 10 years of experience using electronic controls for commercial refrigeration (e.g. Copeland E2/E3, Danfoss SM800A, Carel PR300 / c.pCO).

 

What are the preferred qualifications?

 

• Excellent leadership skills
• Strong process and organizational skills
