Job Description

Coordinate Operational Excellence (OE) risk management and assurance activities within the Environmental (ENV) scope for the Downstream, Midstream & Chemicals (DM&C) segment. Ensure compliance with Chevron OE standards, environmental regulations, and sustainability objectives. Facilitate risk assessments, assurance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen environmental performance and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute OE risk and assurance activities for environmental programs across DM&C operations.

  • Support implementation of OEMS environmental risk management elements, including hazard identification and mitigation strategies.

  • Support environmental audits, risk assessments, and assurance reviews to verify compliance with OE and regulatory requirements.

  • Support the maintenance of risk registers, assurance plans, and tracking tools for environmental compliance.

  • Collaborate with HSE teams, operations, and functional groups to ensure alignment and resolve environmental risk-related issues.

  • Analyze environmental performance metrics as inputs for risk profile revalidations.

  • Assist in incident prevention initiatives and integrate lessons learned into OE environmental efforts.

  • Provide guidance and training to operations teams on OE environmental risk and assurance requirements.

  • Support continuous improvement projects to enhance environmental risk management and assurance practices.

  • Actively participate in Environmental Community of Practice (CoP) to share best practices and drive sustainability goals.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of OEMS frameworks, environmental regulations, and risk assessment methodologies.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with DM&C operations and environmental compliance programs.

  • Experience in environmental audits, risk analysis, and OE implementation.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders effectively.

  • Proficiency in digital tools for environmental risk tracking and reporting (e.g., PowerBI, OE dashboards).

  • Strong collaboration and mentoring skills within HSE and operational teams.
