SUMMARY: The Sales Operations Manager provides support to business development initiatives including pipeline meetings, Salesforce, event planning, content disbursement, design, employee engagement, social media and branding presentation consistency.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understanding new business tools and working with team to create opportunities.
  • Manage Core Values employee recognition program.
  • Attend pipeline meetings and coordinate follow-up.
  • Handle details and execution of corporate and client events including planning, support, and on-site coordination.
  • Aggregate and organize existing sales collateral and assist in the development of new collateral.
  • Design or coordinate marketing materials and social media.
  • Review presentations and proposals.
  • Propose and maintain content for NFP MN electronic newsletter.
  • Manage and distribute corporate and individual client communications.
  • Assist business line leaders and business development team with the creation and execution of various new business-related strategies.
  • Additional duties as assigned

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES:

  • Strong technical aptitude for software and systems
  • Proven ability to exercise a strong attention to details
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to independently perform assigned accountabilities simultaneously, set priorities, and successfully handle multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Proven success remaining professional, adaptable, and cooperative in a team environment during high pressure situations
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Adobe
  • Quick learner with the desire to develop deep understanding of insurance and financial industries

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field with 1 year of work or intern experience in broad functional areas including marketing, communications, writing, editing, event planning, public relations, and data analysis.

The base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $75,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
