Internship Details

•Duration: 12 weeks, full-time

•Dates of Internship: May 18, 2026 - August 17, 2026

•Location: Remote

•Compensation: Paid internship; relocation assistance available for qualified candidates

•Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2026 through June 2028 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.

About the Team:

The Biopharma IRIS Database Engineering team builds, manages, and supports the InterSystems IRIS for Health database/application servers hosting the international clinical drug trials reporting applications.

Internship Assignment Summary:

• Work as a member of an enterprise infrastructure team creating management programs and scripts for monitoring, configuring, and supporting multiple database/application servers.
• Make server configuration updates following official Labcorp change management processes.
• Work on projects independently as well as a member of a team.
• Expand professional skills and business knowledge through online learning and day-to-day tasks and projects.
• Participate in internship program activities, team(s), and project(s).

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics, or similar degree
• Has programming experience in a structured language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• Has experience working with modern database technology such as relational, object-oriented, or hierarchical.
• Exhibits solid verbal and written communication skills and a willingness to interact with individuals with varying technical backgrounds from various organizational levels.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
