Senior Front end Engineer

<p><strong>VGW is an interactive entertainment company, harnessing technology and creativity to deliver world-class, free-to-play games.</strong> </p> <p><strong>We have an exciting opportunity to join our Engineering team in Poland and are currently looking for a Senior Engineer to join the team. </strong></p> <p>As a Senior Engineer in our Games team, you will be pivotal in integrating new games into VGW's existing systems, ensuring fun and exciting new games reach our players. </p> <p>What you’ll love about our team</p> <ul> <li>Ownership and Empowerment: You’ll lead projects from concept to execution; design it, build it, run it.</li> <li>Modern Practices: Born in the cloud, we embrace continuous integration/deployment, Infrastructure as Code, and cybersecurity.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Tech we use</strong></p> <p>In terms of our tech stack, we're hosted on AWS containerised with Docker. In these containers, we run our servers on Node.js connecting to DynamoDB. Our clients are built with TypeScript, PixiJS and use as few dependencies as possible.</p> <p><strong>What you bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>Extensive experience with client-side web development (TypeScript/JavaScript, webpack/vite/jest/vitest).</li> <li>Experience with WebGL technologies (PixiJS, Three.js) and animation libraries (GSAP) is a plus.</li> <li>Experience in interactive visual applications, 2D game development, or animations using game engines (Godot, Unity, Unreal) is highly desirable.</li> <li>Ability to prototype and collaborate with stakeholders to meet feature requirements while maintaining application standards.</li> <li>Deliver product features effectively, focusing on lead time, deployment frequency, change failure rate, resolution time, and minimizing production bugs.</li> <li>Experience in designing architecture patterns tailored to system needs, with exposure to game client-specific patterns being advantageous.</li> <li>Understanding of cloud development fundamentals (AWS hosting) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>About VGW</strong></p> <p>VGW is an interactive entertainment company, harnessing technology and creativity to deliver world-class, free-to-play games.</p> <p>With high-quality, acclaimed brands including Chumba Casino, Global Poker and LuckyLand Slots, we entertain and delight over one million players in North America.</p> <p>As pioneers in sweepstakes promotions for online social games, we also offer our players the opportunity to redeem incredible prizes.</p> <p>At VGW, one of our core values is "our players come first".
