Job Description
The Finance Lead will be responsible for a wide spectrum of responsibilities such as FP&A/HC/Capital consolidation and reporting and Medical business support. The position is a key strategic partner to the Intercontinental Commercial and Markets/Regions, in developing and supporting initiatives to consistently deliver on business objectives. Intercontinental Area spans geographically from Canada, Latin America, Middle East, Africa to Asia Pacific. This position provides excellent development opportunities, high level of interaction and exposure to diverse and dynamic markets across the global. Candidates must be local to the Chicagoland area. This is an In-Person role working out of the Mettawa, IL office.
Responsibilities
- Leads and manage Intercontinental planning cycles from LBEs (Latest Best Estimate), PLAN to LRP (Long-Range Plan), Headcount and Capital reporting.
- Prepares and consolidates Intercontinental Financials. Communicates business results through high quality variance analysis and commentaries to Intercontinental management, International Therapeutics and Global Commercial Finance.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into guidance for affiliates.
- Ensures deliverables are aligned with Global Commercial Finance (GCF) and International Therapeutics guidance.
- Supports affiliates in planning system queries and lead change management initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
- CPA or MBA a plus.
- Minimum 6+ years of progressive and related experience in FP&A and/or Commercial Finance within the Pharma/Medical Device industry.
