Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A | FGBS FP&A

Amazon's Corporate Financial Planning &amp; Analysis (FP&amp;A) team is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the team supporting Finance &amp; Global Business Services (FGBS) FP&amp;A. Our team supports the FGBS organization with all aspects of headcount and operational expense reporting, planning, and analysis. <br/><br/>This SFA will own all core reporting for FGBS and support ad-hoc requests for FGBS senior and executive leadership. The ideal candidate will have superpower Excel skills and will be comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Make History."<br/><br/><br/>Key job responsibilities<br/>- Support the FGBS month end close and planning processes (OP1, OP2, 3YF, and quarterly guidance)<br/>- Perform financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial modeling, to support business decisions and identify areas for improvement.<br/>- Collaborate with internal partners to develop annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans.<br/>- Analyze complex financial data and provide accurate and timely reports to key stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.<br/>- Support the month-end close process and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.<br/>- Collaborate with finance teams across the organization to drive continuous improvement and share best practices.<br/><br/>We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:<br/><br/>Arlington, VA, USA | Seattle, WA, USA<h3>Basic Qualifications</h3><br/>- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience<br/>- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)<br/>- Excel expertise<br/><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3>- Experience in financial modeling, P&amp;L management or analysis<br/>- Experience with cube engine tools (e.g. TM1, Cognos or Essbase), SQL and Data warehouse<br/>- Experience with financial systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion)<br/>- Experience with Cognos, Tableau, and other financial management systems<br/>- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful insights<br/>- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets<br/>- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders<br/>- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet tight deadlines<br/><br/>Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $56,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market.
