Job Description:
Qorvo SFBU is looking for a System Integration Engineer. In this role, you will be working closely with our mechanical, electrical, and software teams to integrate our sensing products into our customer's electronic devices. We work closely with different OEMs on next generation products such as window switch panel, smart surfaces and wearables, etc. This will provide you with an opportunity to understand how different products are designed and manufactured. In this role, you will see the entire process from concept design, proof of concept builds through mass production.  Your task will focus on system software integration and algorithm development. There will also be opportunities for traveling to customer headquarters in Asia and Europe. This job will give you the opportunity to work closely with MEMs and CMOS designers, helping them continuously improve the family of products we offer. This is a fast-paced role, we need engineers who are hungry to learn and move fast.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in multi-disciplinary activities in electrical design, hardware bring-up of solutions of targeted applications.
  • Propose and implement innovative solutions for internal and customers’ designs particularly in software integration and algorithm development.
  • Prototype/product test & characterization
  • Document thoroughly throughout the development process  
  • Support sensor promotion, address questions/issues from customers & FEAs in a timely manner    
  • Will be responsible for Tester Automation Development

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
  • 15+ years of experience required.
  • Self-starter & adaptable to changing project requirements
  • Hands on and attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm to learn and incorporate new technologies 
  • Strong communication skills to work efficiently with diverse stakeholders
  • Customer-centric work ethic 
  • Team player
  • Time management
  • Fluent in at least one of the following languages: C/C++, Python
  • Experience with C# highly desired
  • Comfortable in a highly collaborative environment, able to discuss tactical problems with cross function team and working towards the common goal of the best solution possible.
  • Experience using lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, multimeter, solder iron……
