Lyons Magnus is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Technician to work on night shift.

Job Summary

The Electrical and instrumentation Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment and machinery used in a food manufacturing environment. 

Pay Range: $33.00-$38.00/ per hour

Schedule/Shift: 4 days/ 12 hour days or 5 days/ 8 hours - Night shift

Must be open to working overtime. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve electrical and controls issues with manufacturing equipment and facility utilities
• Program and replace variable frequency drives, DC drives, and servos
• Go online with PLC programs to troubleshoot industrial equipment
• Test Ethernet/IP network communications
• Diagnose and resolve problems with robotics
• Calibrate, test, and replace process sensors and instrumentation
• Complete assigned preventative maintenance tasks
• Identify opportunities to improve machine reliability
• Submit time and material consumption into a computerized maintenance management software (CMMS)
• Actively participate in company safety procedures and policies including LOTO and arc flash protection
• Communicate effectively with operators and maintenance personnel 

Requirements

Education and/or Experience

• High school degree or equivalent
• Two-year technical degree or 5+ years experience in an electrical maintenance role
• 3-5 years of industrial experience in the food and beverage manufacturing industry
