Senior Principal Specialist ServiceNow Platform Owner

Key Role and Responsibilities:

· Provide the highest level of ServiceNow subject matter expertise and implementation support

· Advise, guide, develop and implement business applications aligned with the business needs and in accordance with standard ServiceNow best practices and other associated processes

· To understand the latest offerings from ServiceNow and be able to explain the impact or value this could bring to our customers

· To analyse, support and recommend suggestions to improve business processes and overall direction

· Play an active role in identifying innovative improvements to business process, implemented solutions/systems and internal support processes

· Administration and configuration of ServiceNow modules based upon business requirements

· Understanding the business requirement of our organisation

· Preparation of relevant project documentation as needed

· Working through the lifecycle of a project from design/solution definition, delivery, testing, training and support

· Leverage the latest technology and tools to understand and validate requirements

· Identification and estimation of time to deliver and work with the team to ensure they are accomplished within prescribed timeframes

Content Excellence:

· Design and implementation of end to end solutions

· Can lead functional or technical design workshops

· Can explain the methodology and relate it to different scenarios where it has been used

· Ability to take needs and translate them into an appropriate technical solution

· Identify integration issues and develop solutions to these issues

· Ability to design and adjust solutions within the business context

Delivery Excellence:

· Can take ownership of the subject area and self-manage time to ensure project milestones are met

· Able to take an issue, formulate a plan and deliver a solution using initiative with little guidance

· Identify and escalates changes to scope, issues and risks within the project structure

Business Development:

· Ability to establish strong relationships

· Ability to develop and articulate the value of a proposed solution in business language

· Ability to contribute to technical, procedural and proposals to support proposed solutions

· Ability to identify and flag business development opportunities

Critical Knowledge Skills & Experience:

• At least two micro-certifications (ie. Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Predictive Intelligence, Performance Analytics, Virtual Agent, Configure the CMDB, CMDB Health, Automated Test Framework, Agile and Test Management

Implementation, Service Portal)

• In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow products and integrations

· Knowledge of various implementation methodologies and experience across all elements of the project life cycle

· Excellent functional knowledge, strong understanding of standard ServiceNow functionality and best practices to be able to perform gap analysis,

· Excellent analytical, trouble-shooting skills, passionate in analysing customer's issues as well as to build and improve existing processes.

· Strong experience implementing core ServiceNow modules

· Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills

· Strong presentation skills - able to own the production and delivery of a presentation to a small group

· Ability to conduct one-to-one interviews with management and business process owners

· Project workshop experience with confidence to prepare and lead discussions

· Strong listening and consulting skills

· Passionate self-starter must be able to work independently as well as be a team player
