Position Description
The SupplySight Field Service Representative Hybrid - Warehouse role combines two functions in a single position: servicing SupplySight Inventory Management (IM) customers in the field, and supporting core warehouse operations at the Kansas City location. This role is designed on an approximately 50/50 time split, structured as alternating days in the field (2-3 days per week) and in the warehouse (2-3 days per week), based on customer visit schedules and warehouse operational needs.
When working in the field, this person will carry the full responsibilities of a SupplySight Field Service Representative. When working in the warehouse, this person will perform standard warehouse duties and will additionally take ownership of processing and preparing SupplySight orders when possible.
This role is intended as a development path toward a full-time SupplySight Field Service Representative position as account volume and business need in the Kansas City zone support that transition.
Core Responsibilities
SupplySight Field Service Representative Duties
- Develop strong relationships with key customer personnel and participate in negotiations and discussions aimed at continuously improving the program.
- Provides exceptional customer service by directly delivering SupplySight program support at the customer's facility.
- Acts as a first line of contact to answer questions for customers, supporting product additions, updates, or changes
- Develops an understanding of major product groupings and products to effectively service, stock, and present product solutions while at the customer facility.
- Maintain organized inventory in accordance with RSH policies to ensure proper labeling, storage, handling, and packaging (including temperature and time sensitive materials).
- Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills by collaborating with the inside operations team and the assigned outside sales representative to ensure the highest level of customer support.
- Utilize company vehicles to efficiently resupply onsite Inventory Management (IM) programs, ensuring precise inventory levels are sustained so customers consistently receive the necessary materials in a timely manner.
- Service and maintain equipment located at SupplySight Program customer sites.
- Oversee and assist with preparing orders prior to delivering them to customer facilities.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Warehouse Responsibilities (Warehouse Days)
- Pull customer orders from warehouse shelves, ensuring accuracy of item number, serial number, size, and quantity.
- Receive and inspect incoming warehouse orders; match deliveries to purchase orders; log received items into the warehouse management system.
- Promptly load and unload palletized freight; move products between receiving, storage, and shipping areas.
- Stock shelves in an efficient, organized way and maintain shelving for optimal operational efficiency.
- Perform physical inventory checks and cycle counts to confirm records match actual stock.
- Handle non-conforming products per company policy and OSHA/internal protocols.
- Manage shipment and receipt of products via UPS, FedEx, and other freight carriers; label orders and prepare for shipping, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
