Full Stack Senior Software Quality Engineer (SDET)

What you’ll do:
Actively lead and enhance the test processes to meet quality, compliance, and business objectives.Creatively generate and review test plans and test cases with committed focus in executing them with the team.Become an authority in each feature area with a solid knowledge of interrelated services.Develop testing scenarios/cases to address areas such as database impacts, functional scenarios, regression testing, boundary/negative testing, usability etc.Be accountable for the quality throughout the software development lifecycle, including production; set the championship bar for quality.Identify, log, and triage weaknesses in our user experiences and technology.Plan and facilitate User Acceptance Testing for the various products.Coordinate feature releases, collaborating across the product teams and operations groups.Identify and monitor metrics to keep track of the health of our technology and business.Drive operational excellence and improve the test automation strategy and implementation of the same.Responsible for designing, building and implementing the tools and automation frameworks for functional, regression, integration and performance testing.Debug test automation failures and environmental issues, analyze test results, and guide the dev team on ways to improve test coverage.Influence and educate the developers, PMs, and business owners on your product team on successful testing practices.Provide daily updates to related teams on progress against the timelines and goals, identifying risks as appropriate.Be prepared to work and deliver in a start-up like environment.This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.
Who you are:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.Minimum of 7 years of Test experience with software technologies covering user experience, service API, business workflows, and backend job processing.You have experience in building API, front-end automation framework, automated testing pipeline with Gitlab CI/CD and performance testing.You have experience with REST APIs with data validation.Experience working with .Net, C#, Python, React, SQL, GitLab CI/CD, Postman and AWSExperience with Source Control and Version control tools.Experience leading an offshore team.Experience using Atlassian products for Test Case and Defect Management is a plus.Experience with Ellie Mae Encompass is a plus.You have excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills.You are ambitious and passionate in driving quality in all aspects of the software life cycle.You are knowledgeable in the agile/scrum development process and can handle rapid release cycles.You have strong project management skills to ensure the work your team is doing is on-time, while proposing trade-offs and providing risk assessment to business owners.You continue to educate yourself to learn and improve your testing craft.You have team spirit and a collegial attitude.CI&T is an equal-opportunity employer.
