Job Description

The opportunity
You will be responsible for coordinating observability tools onboarding and reporting to minimize IT risks and system outages. This includes coordination of dashboard reporting and application onboarding for New Relic, Moogsoft, xMatters, and synthetic monitoring systems, as well as their integrations. The role also involves tracking and reporting on licensing and infrastructure costs, running billing queries, contributing to budget forecasting models, and ensuring efficient use of allocated software licensing. The analyst will focus on identifying and capitalizing on cost reduction opportunities and will also be involved in governance of Incident Management and service level processes for New Relic and xMatters administration.

Responsibilities

• Audit end user infrastructure charges (workstations, VDI, etc)
• License tracking database ownership and administration

How will you create impact?

Working with the IT Enablement Center Lead, you will create impact by ensuring segment application teams fully realize the potential of our observability systems. You will also reduce risk and costs by analyzing billing and license data and providing meaningful insight into trending and potential risks. You will also work with IT collaborators to reduce risk by ensuring sufficient licensing maintenance contracts are renewed accurately on time.

• 1+ years IT BA experience
• Advanced spreadsheet skills
• General understanding of New Relic and synthetic monitoring
• General understanding of xMatters and Moogsoft
• Configuration Management 
• Incident Management 
• Microsoft SharePoint site administrative skills
• ServiceNow CMDB reporting and query skills
• General understanding of how software is licensed (Server CPU core and end user licensing)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Accomplished presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
