Work location: Trumbull, CT
- Timely picking of required material using basic material handling equipment
- Complete electronic and/or manual verification of items picked for accuracy.
- Visually identify and report any variations and/or damaged inventory per documented procedures.
- Complete packaging, processing and/or shipment of orders as assigned.
- Load and unload trucks using manual and electric equipment as required.
- Perform physical and ERP/Enterprise Resource Planning goods movements using various forms of electronic devices and/or logs.
- Process stock transfers and material requests
- Follow all provided control procedures and policies to complete tasks.
- Maintain and engage in promotion of a safe work environment.
- As business needs dictate, works extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory overtime.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- General proficiencies in Microsoft Office and ERP preferred (D365 preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast paced, changing environment.
- Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Ability to continually meet all ADA factors as detailed within this job description.
- Ability to communicate verbally and written word in English.
Experience:
- 2 years related disciplines experience highly preferred.
- Previous forklift experience (counterbalance, articulated mast, stock picker, reach truck) preferred, if none, ability to become certified required
Education:
- High School graduate
- 2 years advanced education preferred.
