About the Role!
The Director, Global Accounts Receivable is a key finance leader responsible for driving effective order‑to‑cash processes, partnering with global stakeholders to improve AR visibility, cash collection, and cash application. This role serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for AR reporting & analytics and the Company’s AR securitization program with banking partners, while ensuring strong internal controls and compliance with US GAAP and Sarbanes‑Oxley. The Director leads transformation initiatives including the continued evolution of global AR reporting & visibility, cash collection and past-due notice processes, and automated cash‑application systems.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Global AR team, developing talent and fostering a positive culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end AR processes including timely collections, unapplied cash resolution, bad‑debt governance, and reporting & analysis.
  • Lead the team that runs the Company’s AR securitization program, from building and maintaining the reporting & analysis system, to delivering compliance results to Treasury and external banking partners.
  • Establish and monitor AR KPIs and dashboarding (e.g. DSO, unapplied cash, AR aging) and deliver actionable insights to finance and business leaders.
  • Partner closely with the business, FP&A, Controllership, and Treasury to improve cash‑flow reporting and forecasting which drives working‑capital optimization.
  • Lead the successful deployment and adoption of AR automation initiatives, including standardizing global cash application and past-due notice generation.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX and internal control requirements; oversee AR‑related account reconciliations and variance analyses.
  • Collaborate with Accenture and other service‑delivery partners to optimize BPO performance and strengthen front‑end invoicing and remit processes.
  • Identify and champion opportunities for process simplification, standardization, and digital enablement across global AR operations.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with external auditors, internal stakeholders, and business leaders to ensure transparency, accuracy, and responsiveness.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance with significant exposure to AR and order‑to‑cash processes.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing AR or OTC functions in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance requirements.
  • Thorough knowledge of general ledger and accounting systems.
  • Strong background in process improvement and workflow optimization.
  • Proficiency in IT and finance systems supporting shared services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Proficiency with Alteryx data‑workflow tool, which is leveraged extensively within the Global AR Team.
  • Experience with Workday Finance Module.
  • Knowledge of the real estate industry and documentation.
