Work Flexibility: Hybrid<p></p><p></p><p><i>Amsterdam preferred – EMEA flexible</i></p><p></p><p><b>About the role</b></p><p></p><p>The Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships &amp; Medical Education is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and advancing Stryker’s European Medical Education strategy and external clinical partnerships.</p><p></p><p>This role combines <b>strategic leadership, people management, and high-level stakeholder engagement</b>. The successful candidate will shape the direction of industry <span>engagement strategy,</span> strengthening relationships with key opinion leaders and scientific societies, and ensure strong alignment across global, regional, and divisional teams.</p><p></p><p>The position requires a strong ability to operate in a complex, matrix environment and to influence senior stakeholders across the organization and externally.</p><p></p><p><b>Neurovascular portfolio:</b> <a href="https://www.stryker.com/us/en/portfolios/neurotechnology-spine/neurovascular.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Neurovascular | Stryker</a></p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>Strategic Leadership</b></p><ul><li><p>Define and drive the European physician and industry engagement strategy, alongside Educational needs in alignment with global objectives.</p></li><li><p>Translate long-term strategy into clear execution plans and measurable outcomes.</p></li><li><p>Analyze evolving market dynamics, competitive trends, and customer needs to inform decision-making.</p></li><li><p>Actively contribute to the development of mid- and long-term strategic vision.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Strategic Partnerships &amp; KOL Engagement</b></p><ul><li><p>Develop, maintain, and elevate a robust European network of key opinion leaders.</p></li><li><p>Establish and strengthen partnerships with scientific societies, research institutions, and leading clinicians.</p></li><li><p>Ensure KOL engagement supports high-quality, compliant, and impactful education programs.</p></li><li><p>Provide clinical and scientific leadership to support credibility and effective influence.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Medical Education Program Excellence</b></p><ul><li><p>Set direction for the Medical Education program portfolio, including platforms, content, and delivery models.</p></li><li><p>Drive continuous improvement in the design, quality, and effectiveness of education offerings.</p></li><li><p>Define and monitor performance metrics, analyze results, and implement improvement plans.</p></li><li><p>Establish Medical Education communication strategies aligned with global frameworks.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>People Leadership</b></p><ul><li><p>Lead, develop, and coach a high-performing Medical Education team.</p></li><li><p>Drive performance through clear priorities, structured processes, and effective workload management.</p></li><li><p>Recruit, develop, and retain talent to support future organizational needs.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Cross-Functional Collaboration &amp; Governance</b></p><ul><li><p>Foster strong collaboration with Product Marketing, Sales Training, Commercial, and Medical Education stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Communicate strategy effectively to gain alignment across regional and global teams.</p></li><li><p>Manage budgets, evaluate return on investment, and prioritize future initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Share best practices to support product adoption and improved patient outcomes across Stryker.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree</p></li><li><p>Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience managing teams and complex, cross-functional initiatives</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to influence stakeholders in a matrix organization</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills</p></li><li><p>Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation capabilities</p></li><li><p>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p>MBA or equivalent advanced degree</p></li><li><p>7+ years of experience in medical devices and/or Medical Education</p></li><li><p>4+ years of people management experience</p></li><li><p>Experience working across regions within a multinational organization</p></li><li><p>Ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives in parallel and deliver against timelines</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Additional Information</b></p><ul><li><p>Europe-wide role with location flexibility</p></li><li><p>Travel required</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p>Travel Percentage: None<p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
