Position Overview:

As a Country Store Cashier at Rudy's Country Store & BBQ, you hold a pivotal role in providing exceptional service to our customers at the gas station and country store. Your primary responsibility is to ensure smooth and efficient transactions while delivering outstanding hospitality to every customer. With a focus on accuracy, friendliness, and product knowledge, you contribute significantly to our guests' positive experiences. Your role encompasses various tasks, all aimed at maintaining a clean, organized, and customer-friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, assist with inquiries, and provide product information, creating a welcoming and helpful atmosphere.
• Product Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with the gas station store's inventory, including snacks, beverages, and convenience items, to assist customers effectively.
• Cash Handling: Manage cash transactions, operate the cash register, and maintain accurate cash balances, following all cash handling procedures and protocols.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure products are well-displayed, creating an organized and visually appealing store layout.
• Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and orderly store environment, including the cash register area, shelves, and merchandise displays. Perform regular cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting, to uphold hygiene standards and enhance the store's overall appearance.
• Security and Safety: Ensure security measures are followed, including monitoring the premises for suspicious activities and reporting any concerns to supervisors. Adhere to safety guidelines, such as handling products with care and following emergency procedures as required.
• Customer Engagement: Engage with customers in a friendly and helpful manner, addressing their needs and providing assistance to enhance their shopping experience.
