Summary of role:

This position is responsible for activities related to SIG line connectivity, analysis and reporting relevant to the service department, especially regarding equipment data, efficiency reporting systems and digital service solutions data, management of field service activities, including installation and maintenance of SIG Combibloc equipment at customer sites, provides technical analysis and management of service results reporting for North America, including all of Canada and the USA.

 

Key responsibilities:

•    Install and configure hardware for SIG filling lines with connectivity functions, ensuring network integration and seamless communication with other systems and equipment.

•    Ensure digital technical indicators trigger proactive and corrective actions to maximize line connectivity within the AM_N cluster, guaranteeing accurate data transmission and monitoring performance deviations to optimize the reliability and availability of the filling lines.

•    Provide technical consultancy by identifying customer needs, recommending process and functionality improvements, negotiating alternative solutions, and proposing the adoption of new methods and techniques to tailor solutions to customer requirements.

•    Offer technical support and troubleshooting assistance to the reliability center manager and technical teams in addressing connectivity-related issues.

•    Analyze technical documents, verify their application, and coordinate the necessary actions with relevant departments. Track progress until completion and manage the implementation schedule.

•    Lead meetings with SAMs and project managers to address customer connectivity requirements and regional needs.

 

You bring these skills, experience & education:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university with a concentration in Computer Science, Engineering, or related IT courses.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in automation.
  • Experience in food/beverage or packaging industry is a plus.
